Unschooling
A very unstructured method of homeschooling, the educator or parent takes cues of understanding from the student's behavior. This method is based off the idea of letting students learn at their own pace to an extreme. There are no standard assessments or tests, and the curriculum is based off of the student's interests and individual ideas.
The Montessori Method
This method of education began in Italy, where it was observed that children undergo periods of concentration where they focus intensely until they reach a certain level of self-satisfaction and understanding. The Montessori Method is characterized by its emphasis on free-thinking and independence. There is also a focus on student's physiological, physical, and social development.

The Charlotte Mason Method
The Charlotte Mason Method utilizes the traditional curriculum and courses with a specific focus on the fine arts and literature. There is emphasis on nature in order to instill respect for the environment and others.
